Berhampore is located approximately 200 km to the north of Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. It is the headquarter of Murshidabad district and situated at the bank of the river Bhagirathi.This historic city combines an impressive past with a vivid present.It is warm and convivial city, inviting you for a stroll among its many attractions.

Berhampore is well connected with Kolkata by bus and train route. Bhagirathi Express and Lalgola Passenger leave Kolkata/Sealdah station to reach Berhampore court station in about 4 hours time. The institute campus is about 1 km and ½ km away from the railway station and bus terminus, respectively.The institute is situated at the North-Eastern side of Barrack Square, known as square field in the local parlance, where the mutiny of 1847 against the British rulers was initiated. Banks, district head post office, police station, two hospitals are located within the 500 meters distance of the institute.
